Madalyn Grask

Attorney
Madalyn was born and raised on the south side of Des Moines, Iowa. In 2021, Madalyn graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.A. in Global Health Studies before attending Drake University Law School, where she received her J.D. in 2024. While in Law School, Madalyn completed two semesters of Criminal Defense Clinic, and was captain of the ABA Moot Court team, a note editor for the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law, and the president of Drake’s chapter of If/When/How: Lawyering for Reproductive Justice. Madalyn was honored with the Ag Journal’s Outstanding Editorial Board Member Award and the Merseal Prize for Social Justice. Her note, “Guaranteeing the Right to Food—Addressing Food and Nutrition Insecurity in the United States Through Local Food Programs Without Implicating the Commerce Clause,” was selected for publication in the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law’s 28th Volume. Madalyn represents individuals in personal injury, workers’ compensation, and criminal defense matters. Outside of the office, Madalyn enjoys riding her bike, cheering for the Boston Red Sox, and spending time with her cats Bowie and Mira. Court Admissions:
